Byul.org, "Secret Stories"

by spiral 2015. 5. 26.

One way of appreciating this short clip accompanied by Byul.org's one of the most hypnotic tunes is to rule out yourself from the scene that is taking place before your eyes. That is, you belong to that gray background scene, whereas those younglings, who are enjoying against the beautiful golden glows of the setting sun, are deposited hidden somewhere outside the framework through which you are peeping in. Only within this frame, they can purport to be the objects of your desire, shining like gemstones that are not yet trimmed by social orders of any kind. To put it the other way round, their purity appears so precious as to escape your hand trying to have a grip on it, only insofar as your gaze, which is disemboweled by the social, is added to it. This is why the definition of youth is 'too-muchness' or 'unbearable excessiveness' to the mind of grown-ups. (However, here, you should be smarter than just believing what they apparently say when they give stern moral lessons to young boys and girls caressing in public areas. That is to say, those grown-ups are the culprits who revel in prostitution secretly. Then, it may bluntly be said that those young boys and girls in the scene below are on the verge of becoming a captive, i. e. a secret libidinal object captured by the regulating rules or those who frequent the bawdy house, as soon as their private secret stories are heard by the public, as you have seen in those cases where the real talents of young applicants for a music contest, like Super Star K and so on, get lost in the course of such bureaucratic stupidity.) And this is also why I, personally, have been refraining from watching this clip since its first release in 2011. It insufferably reminds me of what I am divested of, driving me to try to take it back from everywhere or nowhere. The bottom line is physical directness full of happiness is no longer the case for me. On the other hand, if you'd still like to insist on going back to the directness no matter how much pervasive that hollowness is, it would be like you turning a blind eye to the social contracts you are required to enter into, you only indulging in the main footage alone, which is displayed through the hole in the center of the film, with no due attention paid to the gap created by the difference between the background and the hole. Sure, I'm saying that the ilk of you makes the very reader who just revels in love stories of young, beautiful and cute boys and girls in a romance comics. As a matter of fact, those kinds of stories will be the only possible scenarios that can follow from the suggested fullness, happiness, and pleasure of the central sphere, if it is to be cut off alone of the almost grayscale background interspersed with occasional blackouts.
